We want you to spend your mealtimes enjoying good food, not feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Kaana is stress-free and convenient, whether you choose to eat in or to grab on the go.
Family and heritage are priceless connections to our past. Our founder, Symron, grew up in the UK, but her Grandma’s cooking meant the tastes and colours of India were part of daily life. Today, Kaana makes this type of food easy for you to enjoy too.

Our name nods to a few words that sum up our way of thinking. In Hindi, khana means food or meal, and kana translates as one-eyed, reflecting our singular vision of light, flavourful dishes. Meanwhile, in Sanskrit, kana is an atom, aligning nicely with the simplicity of our approach.

Our default is less is more - when it comes to packaging, not flavour. Our team will always ask you if you need a bag or cutlery (whether you’re eating in or ordering to go) but all packaging is recyclable. Also, look out for us on Too Good to Go - this helps us ensure any leftovers are enjoyed by our local community.
